48 Hour Film Project: Carnivores

I’m a little angry this evening.

I’ve spent the last few days working on an epic list of the BEST HORROR MOVIES OF ALL TIME, but  my computer and the entire internet hates me and it’s completely gone. I had it scheduled to go live, per usual, at around one AM this morning. Now, there isn’t even a copy saved to my draft folder.

Since I’m really working on controlling my emotions, I’m going to take it as a sign that the world just wasn’t ready for my list today. Maybe I’ll have time to rewrite it later. Maybe not. Either way, nobody really cares and I’m OK with that. In other news, I’m absolutely loving this crisp, rainy weather.

It makes me feel more in my element. It makes candles smell better, blankets feel snugglier, and I finally don’t smell like kids after recess. This morning my radio even synced up perfectly with my windshield wipers, which worked like magic on my nerves.

Even though I don’t have my thrilling list of the best horror movies to share with you, I do have something horror-related that I hope you’ll like. A few months ago, I was asked to join a team to make a film for the 48 Hour Film Project. Basically, the teams are given a genre and a few choice elements to include-and have precisely 48 hours to write, film and edit the project.

This would have seemed like an overwhelming event for me, except  that all I had to do was act-and I knew that I was working with an extremely talented group of people. I’m super impressed with the way the film turned out!

Huge high-fives to the  cast and crew who made this all happen in just a few short hours. I miss you all like friends I met at summer camp. And for the rest of you, I’d love to hear your feedback!
